i smell eucalyptus on hot days
little tendrils of minty scents on the breeze
at night I smell what's left of her on my pillow
does the weight of all the concrete
make the world a little smaller?
because the weight of all these empty covers
makes me a little smaller
I use pillows now to take up space
everything compresses when its squished
and last night i couldn't sleep
it was heartache.
